Senior/Exec Technical Producer
Salary: £50-60k DOE
Our client is a technical production partner and event technology specialist. They deliver brand experiences and long term installations focused around photo and video capture technologies.
Their core areas of expertise are delivering IRL content experiences, concept realisation (physical and digital), software development and bespoke fabrication.
All of these services are executed by an in-house team of creatives, producers, technologists, developers and fabricators to deliver value and speed.
They are known for an innovative approach to briefs, with an expertise in amplifying the digital footprint of events and bricks and mortar spaces on social media. All of their work is powered by a proprietary software called Airtime.
They work with some of the world’s best creative agencies and also direct to brands. Clients include Google, Dyson, Burberry, IBM, Mastercard, Spotify, Swingers, Apple, YouTube, Vans and more.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Producer to lead a production team and ensure the successful execution of projects. You will manage a team of producers (currently 2 x Producers, 1 x Asst), and be a member of the Management Team along with the Senior Technician and Directors of the business.
The nature of projects vary significantly from delivering event tech at events, permanent installations, bespoke fabrication and software development. They deliver multiple projects in tandem and this role will be overseeing the delivery of these with your team and planning resources
REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide strategic input. Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact for key clients.
Project Scoping: Assess and elevate the feasibility of creative concepts ensuring it aligns with the client’s brief and prepare budgets for delivery.
Pitching: Join pitching calls with the Creative team to present ideas, concepts and be the person to present budgets and discuss project feasibility and timelines.
Team Management: Supervise and mentor production team, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure successful project outcomes. Work closely with team to ensure effective use of time and resources.
Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring we meet internal profit margins while delivering exceptional experiences. Sign off on budgets up to an agreed limit/ scope.
Project Management: Responsible for the planning and delivery of multiple projects, working with internal teams and multiple production partners. Manage internal resources and project timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Workflow optimisation: Continuously improve production workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Identify and implement new tools and technologies that can streamline production.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources (staff, equipment, freelance, crew) effectively to meet production requirements
Meetings: Host weekly (Monday Morning Meetings) with the whole team to talk through live projects and projects in pitch phase. Communicate problems/bottlenecks, clashes or other obstacles.
Leadership: Proactively engage and inspire production teams, working closely with Creative Technologists, Technicians, Developers, Fabricators, and Designers to bring creative ideas to delivery.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in event planning and execution. Prepare/review H&S documentation and Risk Assessments.
