Senior Event Manager – Exhibitions Temporary

15-Month Maternity Cover | London (On-site)
Salary: Up to £55k + bonus

We’re partnering with a leading London events destination to recruit an experienced Senior Event Manager to deliver a high-profile portfolio of major exhibitions.

This is a hands-on senior role, owning exhibitions end-to-end — from planning and tenancy through to live delivery and post-event reconciliation. You’ll act as the senior operational lead and trusted client partner in a fast-paced, world-class venue environment.

The role

• Lead large-scale exhibitions as the main client contact

• Manage events end-to-end, including live tenancy on site

• Run client meetings, site visits, briefings and operations

• Own budgets, forecasting, POs and cost control

• Oversee H&S, operational planning and risk management

• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams

• Lead debriefs, drive improvements and support junior team members

About you

• Proven experience delivering large-scale exhibitions or complex events

• Senior or supervisory event management background

• Strong operational knowledge (build logistics, H&S, multi-tenancy)

• Confident client manager with solid commercial acumen

• Experience using event systems (e.g. Momentus)

• Calm, adaptable and solutions-focused

• Flexible to work evenings and weekends
